Honolulu CrimeStoppers said this 2017 silver Kia Soul was used by the suspects in a Dec. 10 fatal shooting in Halawa.
UPDATE: 9:05 a.m.
Honolulu police said today that the 2017 Kia Soul matching the description of the suspect vehicle involved in the Dec. 10 Halawa Housing Complex fatal shooting has been found.
Police said the vehicle had been reported stolen in Kalihi and was recovered as evidence on the evening of Dec. 12.

Honolulu CrimeStoppers is asking for the public’s help finding witnesses and identifying suspects in the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in Halawa last week.
The Honolulu Police Department has opened a second-degree murder case in the shooting of Aron Lucky. Investigators said Lucky was walking toward the Halawa Housing Complex near Salt Lake Boulevard and Kamehameha Highway just before midnight on Dec. 10 when multiple suspects were seen exiting a silver-colored Kia Soul.

One of the suspects opened fired at Lucky. He was treated by paramedics for multiple gunshot wounds and was taken in critical condition to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s office listed the cause of death as “multiple blunt force injuries” and the manner of death as homicide,
On Wednesday, CrimeStoppers and police released a photo of the victim and the Kia Soul.
HPD had said earlier that witness reported three suspects, who were all wearing black clothing and black face coverings at the time of the shooting. One suspect was carrying a handgun, a second suspect had a long gun and a third suspect also had a handgun. They fled on Salt Lake Boulevard toward the Stadium after the shooting, police said.
