HPD makes attempted murder arrest in Kapolei

The Honolulu Police Department arrested a man for attempted murder this evening in Kapolei.

Officers responded to a domestic-related attempted murder at about 5:27 p.m.

A 40-year-old man allegedly threw an incendiary device toward a 27-year-old female victim, causing a minor leg injury. The man fled but was later located and arrested without incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
