DC Kohima notifies

Dimapur, November 8: Deputy Commissioner Kohima Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued a notice stating that Mobile/ Telecom/ Internet/ Cable TV service providers are randomly installing their connections in and around Kohima Municipality resulting in defacement of property and obstruction to public way with potential to cause danger or injury to person(s).

Therefore, in the interest of public safety, he directed that all service providers remove/ streamline/ arrange all such loose hanging/ randomly installed wires and ensure that it is aesthetic and safe on or before November 16.

Defaulters shall be penalized as per appropriate Section of law, he said.
