Bette Midler Weighs In on the Netanyahu Warrant Backlash: “Like We Didn’t Black-Bag the President of Venezuela Earlier This Year”

Bette Midler waded into the backlash over the Netanyahu warrant with a pointed comparison, contrasting a leader facing a warrant on paper with one who was physically hauled out of his own country.
“Like we didn’t black-bag the President of Venezuela earlier this year,” Midler wrote.
Her point was the gap between the two situations: one leader has a paper warrant he’ll likely never face, while the other was pulled out of his own compound by US commandos and put on a plane to New York.
The viral line she posted wasn’t even hers.
