Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s On-Again Partner And Father Of Daughter Aurora, Ken Urker, Was Found Dead on His Birthday After Her Text to Him Went Unanswered, TMZ Reports.

Kenan “Ken” Urker was found dead Thursday at a home in Raceland, Louisiana, on his 34th birthday.
Deputies with the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office say they responded to a residence after a call came in at 6:15 p.m. and found him dead on arrival. The sheriff’s office identified him as Kenan Urker, 34, and said the death investigation is ongoing. TMZ, which broke the news, initially reported his age as 33; the discrepancy tracks with the fact that he died on his birthday.
Family sources told TMZ that Gypsy Rose Blanchard texted him “Happy Birthday” and never heard back, and that her brother Dylan later found him in the home.
Gypsy and Urker got engaged while she was still incarcerated. They broke up, she married Ryan Anderson, and after that split she reconnected with Urker. The two were co-parenting a daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, born in December 2024. Outlets differ on the current label: TMZ calls Urker her ex-fiancé, while People and others have described him as her fiancé or boyfriend.
TMZ reports Gypsy, her family and Urker’s family are in shock.
