Alix Earle Regrets Talking About Alex Cooper on ‘Earle Meets World’

The finale of Earle Meets World delivered the most explosive moment yet in Alix Earle‘s feud with Alex Cooper: Earle read aloud a message she’d drafted to Cooper but never sent. In it, she accused her former mentor of being “sick and twisted” and choosing “money over morals,” alleging that Cooper had taken advantage of her when she was young and inexperienced in the industry.
The roots of the dispute go back to 2023, when Earle — then 22 — signed her “Hot Mess” podcast to Cooper’s Unwell Network. Earle says Cooper promised mentorship and the resources to build the show, but the partnership later fell apart.
“Earle Meets World” premiered on Netflix on September 4. By keeping the dispute in the series, Earle made public the words she says never reached Cooper.
Now, Earle says she regrets it. In a clip from a forthcoming interview with PEOPLE, Alix and her sister Ashtin were asked which plotlines they would cut from the Netflix series if they could. Alix wrote a single word on her whiteboard: “Alex.”
