Selma Blair, 54, was taken off a Delta flight in handcuffs Sunday after she allegedly punched one flight attendant and bit another crew member on the way to New York’s JFK, according to New York Port Authority.

Two flight attendants reported injuries, and one was taken to the hospital. Blair was arrested and brought to a hospital for evaluation the same day. The FBI, which handles all assaults aboard aircraft, is now investigating what happened on the flight, which had taken off from Los Angeles earlier Sunday.

Dispatch audio captured a responder describing “a bloody nose as well as some bite marks” among the injuries, and noting that “the disruptive passenger also bashed her head on the bulkhead or something like that.”

A representative for Blair said she “experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct,” adding that she got immediate medical attention after landing and is in stable condition. Delta said there was zero tolerance for unruly behavior and that the flight arrived ahead of schedule with no operational impact.
