UP woman slips under moving train, RPSF personnel save her in 5 minutes

Three alert officials stopped the departing Prayagraj Express and rescued a woman from beneath the train at the station. The five-minute operation, caught on CCTV, has gone viral.

A train was departing from a station in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj when a woman passenger slipped beneath it. Within minutes, three Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel stopped the train and pulled her to safety.

The incident took place at Prayagraj Junction’s Platform 1 as the Prayagraj Express was already in motion. The woman attempted to de-board the moving train when she lost her balance and fell on the platform.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mahesh Kumar Haritwal, along with constables Pravesh Kumar and Basant of the RPSF's 2nd Battalion, first pulled the emergency chain to bring the train to a halt. Then, the officials reached out to the woman trapped underneath the train and carefully pulled her to safety.

The entire operation took only five minutes to complete.

The dramatic rescue was captured on CCTV, showing how quickly the personnel responded to the emergency. Their intervention ensured that what could have been a fatal accident ended with the passenger being brought out safely.

The incident was carried out under the Railway Protection Special Force's Operation Jeevan Raksha, which focuses on responding to emergencies and protecting passengers in life-threatening situations.

The woman passenger later expressed her gratitude to the personnel, praising them for their courage and quick response.
