Telangana Minister Jupally Krishna Rao expressed displeasure over poor sanitation and official negligence after finding an unhygienic washroom during a surprise inspection of the Tahsildar office in Pentlavelli, Nagarkurnool district, on Friday.

During the inspection, the minister noticed that the washrooms at the government office were in a filthy condition. Unhappy with the lack of cleanliness at a public office, Jupally reprimanded officials and staff for failing to maintain basic hygiene standards.

"This is unacceptable. Why is this so dirty?" he asked.

The minister then personally poured water and cleaned the washroom, drawing attention to the condition of sanitation facilities at the office.

INSPECTION PART OF FUNCTIONING REVIEW

The inspection was part of Jupally's review of the functioning of the Tahsildar office. He examined revenue petitions and reviewed the status of files pending between the Mandal Revenue Office and the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) office.

Jupally also questioned officials about delays in disposing of revenue-related applications and sought explanations from the concerned officers.

The minister's inspection focused on both cleanliness and the timely delivery of government services to the public.
