Man found dead inside luxury car in Bengaluru's Koramangala

A man from Karnataka’s Kodagu district was found dead inside a luxury car parked in Bengaluru’s Koramangala area on Sunday morning, with police investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

The deceased was identified as Salim, a resident of Kodagu. Local residents alerted the police after noticing a man inside the car who appeared to be unresponsive. Police reached the spot and confirmed his death before sending the body for a post-mortem examination.

The incident was reported from Koramangala 8th Block. Preliminary investigation found that the car had been parked in front of Sagar Fast Food at around 2.30 am. Police verified the timing using CCTV footage from the area.

The vehicle remained parked at the location for several hours before Salim was found inside it.

POLICE EXAMINE CIRCUMSTANCES OF DEATH

Police officials said preliminary indications pointed towards a possible health-related complication. However, the exact cause of death has not yet been established and will be determined after the post-mortem and forensic examinations.

An unnatural death report has been registered in connection with the incident.

After the body was found, police conducted an initial inspection of the vehicle and the surrounding area. Scene-of-crime personnel and forensic investigators also examined the car as part of the investigation.

Officials are examining whether there were any circumstances inside the vehicle that could have contributed to the death. Police said there were no immediate signs of foul play during the initial examination.

However, investigators have maintained that the final cause of death can only be established after the medical and forensic reports are received.

FAMILY TRAVELLING TO BENGALURU

Salim’s family members have been informed about his death and are travelling from Kodagu to Bengaluru. His relatives are expected to meet the police and complete the necessary formalities.

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. The report is expected to provide further details about the circumstances and cause of death.

At present, police are not treating the case as a suspected murder. Officers said no immediate indication of foul play has emerged from the preliminary examination.

The investigation will continue based on the post-mortem and forensic findings. Police are also examining CCTV footage and other available evidence to establish Salim’s movements before the car was parked in Koramangala.

Until the medical examination is completed, the possibility of a health complication remains preliminary and has not been confirmed by police.
