  • Invitations have unique watermarks to trace leaks on social media
  • Over 1,100 guests invited, with invites sent out by April

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly leaving little to chance when it comes to keeping their rumoured July 3 wedding celebration under wraps. According to TMZ, the couple have issued uniquely watermarked invitations to guests, making it easier to trace any invite that ends up online.

The reported celebration, expected to take place in New York City, could host more than 1,100 guests. With speculation surrounding the event continuing to build, the couple have reportedly made privacy a top priority.

As per TMZ, every invitation carries a hidden watermark featuring the guest's first and last name repeated throughout the card. The personalised marking would reportedly allow the couple's team to identify the source if a photograph of an invitation is leaked on social media or elsewhere.

The report adds that invitations were sent out in early spring, with many guests receiving them around April.

It was also reported that the invitations do not disclose the exact venue. Instead, they mention only New York City and the date – July 3. As a result, guests are said to know little beyond when and where the celebration will take place, helping keep the location under wraps.

The outlet had earlier reported that between 1,100 and 1,200 guests are expected to attend the event.

It was previously reported that a permit had been filed with New York City to close streets around Madison Square Garden from July 2 until midday on July 4 for festivities linked to a July 3 event. However, sources told the outlet that Madison Square Garden is not mentioned anywhere on the invitations, suggesting the venue has deliberately been kept off the cards.

The celebration could also feature an impressive line-up of performers. Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are expected to perform, while Paul McCartney has also reportedly been discussed as a possible addition.
