A woman was allegedly raped by a sleeper bus driver and conductor inside the vehicle in Delhi, police sources said on Thursday. The incident reportedly took place on May 12, following which both accused were arrested.

According to police, the woman filed a complaint after the incident, based on which a case was registered, and an investigation was launched. The bus involved in the case has also been seized as part of the probe.

Sources said the woman is married and has three children. Her statement was recorded by police, and an FIR was registered after her medical examination was conducted. The arrests were made soon after procedural formalities were completed.

Investigators said the alleged assault took place inside the sleeper bus while the woman was travelling. Police have not yet disclosed the route of the vehicle or the exact circumstances under which the incident occurred.
