NTA opens NEET fee refund 2026 correction window, candidates asked to verify details

Applicants must verify or update their banking information through OTP-based authentication before they can access and download their RE-NEET 2026 admit card for the upcoming re-examination. The agency has stated that bank account verification is compulsory to facilitate the fee refund and enable the download of the admit card.
The official notice reads, ‘During scrutiny of the bank account details received, it has been observed that some candidates have furnished incomplete or incorrect particulars, including invalid account numbers and other discrepancies. NT has also received representations from candidates seeking an opportunity to verify and rectify their bank account details to facilitate successful credit of the refund amount.’

STEPS TO UPDATE AND VERIFY NEET RE-FUND 2026 BANK DETAILS
Step 1: Visit the official NEET website and log in to the NEET (UG) 2026 portal using your Application Number and Password.
Step 2: Complete OTP-based authentication through your registered mobile number.
Step 3: Verify and enter your bank account details, including:
- Beneficiary Name
- Bank Account Number
- Re-enter/Confirm Bank Account Number
- Bank Name
- IFSC Code
Step 4: Upload supporting documents (optional), such as a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or the first page of your bank passbook showing the account details.
Step 5: Review all information carefully and ensure that the bank account details are accurate and belong to the beneficiary who will receive the refund.
Step 6: Submit the details after verifying that all particulars are correct.

The NTA has clarified that candidates must first verify their bank account details for the fee refund before they can download their admit cards. Failure to complete the verification process may result in difficulties while accessing the admit card download facility.
