Jennifer Lopez-Brett Goldstein spark romance buzz after denying dating rumours

Actors Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein are reportedly seeing each other casually after starring in Office Romance. The claim follows earlier denials and months of speculation about their off-screen chemistry.

Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein may have given their Office Romance chemistry a little extra screen time in real life. The former co-stars, who previously denied dating each other, are now reportedly seeing each other casually. Call them Brettifer, if you will.

According to Page Six, the pair were seen arriving at and leaving a talent manager’s party in Los Angeles in the same car on October 16. They reportedly entered the venue separately, though, because apparently even a shared car ride needs a little mystery.

A source told the publication that Lopez, 57, and Goldstein, 46, have a shared love for parties and restaurants. The insider even took a swipe at Lopez’s ex-husband Ben Affleck, claiming that Goldstein enjoys going out more than Affleck, who allegedly looked less than thrilled during public outings with Lopez.

The dating buzz isn’t exactly new. The pair were seen watching the Broadway show Oh, Mary! together in March 2025, before filming for their Netflix romantic comedy began. Earlier this year, Lopez also gave Goldstein a rather enthusiastic review on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, saying he was the "best kisser" after working with him on the film.

Goldstein, meanwhile, has been a Lopez admirer for years. On his Films To Be Buried With podcast in December 2019, he marvelled at her age while discussing Hustlers, exclaiming, "F**king hell. Fifty! She’s 50. I love her."

Still, the pair were quick to shut down romance speculation while promoting Office Romance on Today. When host Savannah Guthrie asked whether they were dating, Lopez replied, "Not dating," while Goldstein backed her up with a firm, "Correct." Lopez also noted that people tend to link her romantically with anyone she works with.

Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August 2024 after two years of marriage. Goldstein, whose only publicly known relationship was with actress Beth Rylance in 2021, has kept his personal life relatively private.

Representatives for both stars haven't responded to requests for comment. For now, this reported romance remains casual. But between the shared outings, the kissing compliment and Goldstein’s long-standing admiration, Office Romance might just have a little competition from its own off-screen storyline.
