Unidentified armed robbers attempted to loot a jewellery shop in Nashik on Friday but were forced to flee after facing resistance from the shop owner and a female staff member. CCTV footage of the incident has now gone viral.

The incident occurred in the Panchavati area between 9 and 9:30 pm, when the armed men entered a jewellery showroom. The footage shows them threatening the shop owner and a female staff member present at the premises, striking them with the butts of their pistols before attempting to steal gold and silver jewellery.
