Bangladesh protests turn violent after Osman Hadi's death

Protests erupted across Bangladesh after the death of radical leader Sharif Osman Hadi, with thousands converging at Shahbag and accusing authorities of failing to protect him. Demonstrators chanted slogans and waved placards, many of them openly showing anti-India and anti–Sheikh Hasina sentiments.
