Would've won if I were on the ballot: Trump as Republicans face midterm losses

Would've won if I were on ballot: Donald Trump's first comments ahead of imminent midterm loss

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that his Republican Party would have secured a landslide victory in the recently-held midterm elections if he was "on the ballot."

"I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE!" he said in a post on Truth Social. This comes as media projections indicate that the Republican Party is poised to lose control of the US House of Representatives in the midterm elections.
