An 18-year-old BBA student died by suicide after jumping from the 19th floor of a residential society in Greater Noida early Thursday morning. The student, Aditya Arora, reportedly wanted to pursue acting but had enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course.

Preliminary information suggested that Aditya had joined a BBA course at a private college in Ghaziabad due to family expectations. However, the police are yet to establish whether his career aspirations or studies had any connection with his death.

The incident took place at Pristine Avenue Society in Central Noida. According to the police, Aditya lived with his family and left their apartment without informing anyone. He then went to another tower in the society and jumped from its lobby on the 19th floor, dying on impact.

His family members told the police that the first-year BBA student had been upset about something. However, the exact reason for his distress remains unclear. The police have not recovered any suicide note so far.

According to the information available, there was no indication of a scolding immediately before the incident or a dispute within the family.

Officials said that police are examining the circumstances under which Aditya left his own tower and went to another building before jumping from the 19th floor.

The police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident. They completed the initial formalities and sent the body for a post-mortem examination.
