A law student from a private university died after allegedly falling from the seventh floor of an apartment building in Noida. The incident occurred in the Supreme Tower Society in Sector 99, under the jurisdiction of Sector 39 police station.

The student, identified as Tapas, was in a flat with friends at the time of the incident. According to initial reports, he fell from the seventh floor, resulting in his death at the scene.

The father of the deceased is an advocate based in Ghaziabad. The student was pursuing an LLB degree at the private university.

In a statement, Noida Police said: "Information was received about a young man falling from the seventh floor in Supreme Tower Society. Upon reaching the scene, it was found that Tapas, who was with friends in the flat, had fallen and died. The family of the dead has been informed. Senior officials and a forensic team have inspected the site. The body has been sent for a post-mortem after completing formalities. A detailed investigation into all aspects of the incident is underway. Further legal action will be taken based on a written complaint from the family."

The incident remains under investigation, and police are examining the circumstances surrounding the fall.
