A major fire broke out in a flat on the 22nd floor of Aranya Society in Sector 119, Noida, on Monday, triggering a large-scale emergency response. Preliminary reports suggest the blaze was caused by a blast in an air conditioner (AC) unit.

Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot and firefighters are working to bring the flames under control. The Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of Gautam Buddh Nagar and local police are also present at the site, overseeing the rescue and firefighting operations.

According to Noida Police, the fire was reported from a flat in Aranya Society under the jurisdiction of Sector 113 police station. Fire Service teams responded immediately and launched firefighting operations.

Authorities have confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far. Efforts to completely extinguish the fire are continuing, while officials are expected to share further details after the situation is brought under control.

CHIEF MINISTER REVIEWS FIRE INCIDENT

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took cognisance of the fire incident in Noida and directed senior officials to immediately reach the spot and oversee the situation. He instructed authorities to expedite relief and rescue operations, ensure proper medical treatment for the injured, maintain the highest level of administrative vigilance, and continuously monitor the ongoing relief efforts.
