Ayodhya’s district basic education department has barred the entry of outsiders, YouTubers and people associated with social media platforms into parishadiya schools without prior permission from the competent authorities.

District Basic Education Officer Lal Chand issued the order on August 19, stating that unauthorised entry into school premises, along with photography and videography, would not be permitted.

PRIOR PERMISSION MANDATORY

According to the order, no outsider, YouTuber or person associated with social media will be allowed to enter any parishadiya school in Ayodhya without prior permission from the District Basic Education Officer or another authorised official. Photography and videography inside the school premises have also been prohibited without permission.

The department said the move follows instances of outsiders entering schools and making photographs and videos of school staff and activities before sharing them on social media. Such activities, according to the order, can affect the teaching-learning process and the dignity of the teaching profession.

The order directed all concerned schools and officials to ensure strict compliance with the instructions. It stated that the directions would come into effect immediately.
