Following his arrest, Bilal was seen inside the police station apologising with folded hands and holding his ears. He repeatedly said, “I made a mistake. I will never commit such an act again. Please forgive me. This will not happen in the future.”

The officer said the accused tried to evade identification by borrowing someone else’s scooter, using a fake number plate on the vehicle, and later hiding the scooter after the incident. Police also arrested one of his associates in connection with the case.

Bhosale said strict action was being taken against the accused.
