Tiger Shroff’s team denied reports claiming the actor told Mumbai Police he was shocked by the attempt on his life, clarifying that he hasn’t made any such statement. The clarification comes a week after shots were fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area, leaving his driver and a bystander injured.

"This news is completely untrue. Tiger has not made any such statement. No such thing has happened," the actor’s spokesperson said on October 25.

The team had earlier pushed back against the spread of misinformation surrounding the incident, warning that fabricated reports and AI-generated videos falsely attributed to Shroff are circulating online. In an earlier statement posted on the official Team Tiger Shroff page, his team said he hadn’t issued any statements, released videos or authorised communication about the shooting. It also warned that legal action could be taken against those continuing to spread false claims.

Shroff’s first pictures after the incident showed bandages on his arm and shoulder, worrying fans. His team later shared a short video showing burn marks on his skin, offering some context for the injuries.

Meanwhile, the police investigation is ongoing, with 10 people apprehended so far from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Police allege that Rehan, Phool Singh and Ritik opened fire at Shroff’s car while riding two motorcycles. The trio were arrested in Kota, Rajasthan, and handed over to Mumbai Police.

Three other men – Sameer, Jatin and Ankit Khatak – were arrested in Sonipat, Haryana, for allegedly helping plan and facilitate the attack. Investigators suspect they were involved in reconnaissance and arranging weapons.

Police are also examining CCTV footage, hotel records and evidence collected from Mumbai’s Aarey Colony. The accused allegedly practised firing there on October 17, a day before the shooting.

The incident took place as Shroff was returning home after a football match on October 18. Following the firing, Pandit, an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, reportedly claimed responsibility and threatened actor Salman Khan and people working with him.
