The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has declared the Class 12 (Plus Two) examination results today, May 4, 2026. The results have been announced at around 11 am from the board’s Dharamshala headquarters, bringing relief to thousands of students awaiting their scores.

A total of 92.02% of students have passed. Sayla Kashyap from Science stream has topped the Class 12 board exams with 99 per cent marks in 2026.

Students who appeared for the HPBOSE Class 12 examinations can now access their results online through the official website,i.e., hpbose.org using their roll numbers. The results have been released simultaneously for all three streams ,i.e., Science, Commerce and Arts.

Over 80,000 students appeared for HPBOSE Class 12 exams

This year, the HPBOSE Class 12 board examinations were conducted between March 3 and April 1, 2026, across multiple centres in the state.

As per available data, over 80,000 students appeared for the HPBOSE Plus Two examinations this year.

The board conducted the exams in offline mode and completed the evaluation process in time to announce the results in early May, in line with its usual academic calendar.

HPBOSE CLASS 12 RESULT 2026: HOW TO CHECK SCORECARDS

Students can follow the steps below to download their HPBOSE Class 12 result 2026:

• Visit the official website,i.e., hpbose.org
• Click on the ‘Results’ section on the homepage
• Select the link for “Class 12 Regular Examination Result 2026”
• Enter your roll number in the login window
• Click on submit
• Your result will appear on the screen
• Download and take a printout for future reference.

Alternatively, students can also check their results via SMS by typing HP12 Roll_Number and sending it to the designated number.

The online marksheet will include the following details:

• Student’s name
• Roll number
• Subjects appeared
• Subject-wise marks
• Total marks obtained
• Qualifying status

Students are advised to carefully verify all details on their scorecards. In case of discrepancies, they should contact their respective schools or board authorities.

PASSING CRITERIA

To pass the HPBOSE Class 12 examination, students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate.

Those who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking, while students who fail in one or more subjects will be eligible to appear for supplementary examinations.

Following the declaration of results, students will be able to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools. The online result is provisional in nature.

Students can now proceed with applications for undergraduate courses, professional programmes, or competitive exams depending on their stream and career plans.
