At least two people were killed and five others, including a two-year-old child, were wounded on Sunday in a shooting at a food festival in Seattle, according to local news outlets.

"Please avoid the area," the police said on X, referring to Seattle Center, where the Bite of Seattle food festival was being held. "Police are investigating a shooting. Multiple shooting victims. Shots fired at the Seattle Center," the police department stated..

The Seattle Times and local TV station KOMO reported two people were killed and five were wounded, citing the Seattle Fire Department.

Witnesses reported hearing several shots around 6 pm (local time), The Seattle Times reported.
