The traumatic aftermath of the fire that killed at least nine people, including a child and four women, in Delhi's Vivek Vihar on Sunday has surfaced, with a video showing the charred remains of the victims and the burnt interior of the residential building where the incident took place.
While the exact cause of the fire was not immediately known, it is suspected to be caused by an AC blast. According to the police, apartments on the second, third and fourth floors of the building were engulfed by the fire.
The incident took place during the early hours of the day. The bodies of five of the nine people killed in the blaze were recovered from the second floor of the building, while three others were found in the staircase. The body of one other person was recovered from the first floor.
