Rourkela murder case: two accused injured in police encounter

Rourkela: Rourkela Police made a significant breakthrough in the high-profile murder case of Tofan Bindhani.
Police arrested two accused – Chunu and Sushant – after an encounter at Jhirpani area in Rourkela on Friday.
According to reports, the duo was hiding in the area when police found them.
During the encounter, the accused allegedly attempted to flee when police had to shoot them in their legs, according to police.
The duo was immediately taken to Rourkela Government Hospital for treatment.
Both of them are stated to be the prime accused in the murder of Tofan Bindhani, the resident of Sector-6 of Rourkela.
This murder has drawn widespread flak in the region.
Further investigation is being carried out by the police.
