Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled Odisha visit cancelled

 Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is not coming to visit Odisha on July 3, 2026. Bargarh Member of Parliament (MP) Pradeep Purohit on Thursday informed about his visit cancellation.

He stated that the scheduled official visit of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Odisha has been cancelled.

As per the earlier schedule, the Union Home Minister was set to visit Odisha for two-day itinerary spanning multiple development projects. He was scheduled to arrive in the state on July 3.

The Home Minister was going to attend the inaugural ceremonies of several state-level development initiatives. There were several program scheduled expecting the Home Minister’s arrival in Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Cuttack, and Bhubaneswar.

During his stay in the region, the Home Minister was going to formally inaugurate a major ethanol project in Bargarh.

However, the reason behind his visit cancellation has not been declared yet. Moreover, there in no information about his upcoming visit to Odisha a well.
