7 killed, 1 critical after passenger vehicle crashes into truck in Jharkhand

Ranchi: At least seven persons died and another critically injured after a passenger van crashed into a truck late Thursday night in the Ramgarh district of Jharkhand.

As per reports, the victims were a Tasha party, who were returning after performing at a wedding when their van met with an accident near the Kuju OP area.

Commuters rushed to the rescue along with emergency teams and rescued the people trapped in the badly mangled vehicle.

Later all the injured were rushed to the nearby hospital where seven persons were declared brought dead.

The condition of one person was said to be critical.

On being informed, Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Further investigation is underway.
