18 injured in Damascus twin explosions during Fresh President Macron’s visit

New Delhi: Twin explosion incident took place in Syria in which at least 18 people lost their lives during Fresh President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Damascus today.

The incident occurred near a hotel where the Fresh President was staying. It happened on President’s second day of Syria stay.

As per reports, the two locations were the blast took place is dumpster, and the other in a vehicle near the Four Seasons Hotel.

Following the incident the road at the scene where the incident occurred were closed and security forces and ambulance services headed to the spot.

During the incident, President Macron was not present nearby hotel and didn’t hear eplosions. He was at the presidential palace with the Syrian President and had left the hotel in the morning.
