4 Killed, 8 Injured In Two Separate Road Accidents In Odisha

Keonjhar/Sundargarh: Four people were killed and eight others were critically injured in two separate road accidents in Odisha on Tuesday.

Bike-Thar collision in Ghatagaon

In the first incident, two youths died on the spot after a Thar SUV hit their motorcycle near Khajurijuan under Ghatagaon block in Keonjhar district.

The bike was completely mangled in the impact. Police reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the accident.

Car-Commander head-on crash in Kunjirkela

In the second accident, a car and a Commander vehicle collided head-on near Patakijore under Kunjirkela Police limits in Sundargarh district.

Two people died in the crash while 8 others sustained serious injuries. Police have reached the spot and further probe is underway.

Authorities said the injured have been admitted to hospital for treatment.
