NEET re-exam: Odisha Chief Secretary holds high-level review meeting to conduct of exam smoothly

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg today held a high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to ensure the smooth conduct of the NEET re-examination across the state on June 21.

Secretaries of various departments along with Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Department Hemant Sharma and district collectors also took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary has asked the concerned officials to make bus arrangements for the students to reach and leave the exam centres. She also reviewed the arrangements made by the district collectors at the district level.

Supervisors, police, magistrates have been directed to reach their respective exam centres on time and have been instructed to carry out the responsibility given to them properly. Instructions have been issued to ensure medical and water facilities at the exam centers.

Garg said that no mistakes during the NEET re-examination will be tolerated.

As many as 56,983 candidates are slated to appear the test at 132 exam centres in 27 cities in Odisha.
