President Droupadi Murmu to visit Rourkela on April 21: Union Minister Jual Oram

Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Rourkela on April 21 and inaugurate several projects, informed Union Tribal Affairs Minister and Sundargarh MP Jual Oram today.

Addressing a press meet, Oram informed that the President has accepted his invitation to visit Rourkela and inaugurate several projects on April 21 (Tuesday).

Oram confirmed that the President will reach the Steel City at 11.10 AM and return to Delhi at 4.5 PM after inaugurating an Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC), a recreational park, a Tribal Research and Cultural Museum, and a planetarium.

During the President’s visit, a grand cultural reception will be organized by more than 10,000 school and college students and more than 3,000 cultural groups of Sundargarh district. Along with this, an exhibition with about 30 stalls by the self-help groups and various departments will also be set up, the Minister said.

Meanwhile, the district administration of Sundargarh and authorities of Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) have started preparation to ensure to make the president’s visit a grand success.
