Bhubaneswar: In a significant decision, the Board of Revenue has dismissed a revision petition filed by private claimants over 63 acres of prime land in Cherol mouza, near Jagatpur roundabout, under Tangi-Choudwar tehsil. This brings to an end a legal dispute over this valuable government land that had been ongoing for a long 43 years.

Board of Revenue Member Satyabrata Sahu upheld government ownership of 43-year-old disputed land near Jagatpur. Kataka administration takes physical possession, paving the way for public infrastructure and development projects.

The move confirms the State Government’s ownership and allows the land, valued at over ₹800 crore, to be used for public development.
