Odisha Uploads Revised Class 1-4 Textbooks Online, Invites Public Feedback in 7 Days

The Odisha School and Mass Education Department uploaded corrected digital versions of textbooks for Classes I to IV on its official websites. Now, students, teachers, and parents can easily find these updated materials on the SME Department’s site, as well as the portals for the Directorate of Teacher Education, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), and the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA).

Seeking to make the final publication process completely transparent, the state government has invited stakeholders—including educationists, experts, parents, and the general public—to review the digital copies and submit their constructive feedback within a strict seven-day window. For now, only Classes I to IV have their revised textbooks online. But the department says each class up to Class VIII will get the same chance for public review before updates are finalized.
