Odisha Police SI exam scam: 3 accused to be remanded for 4 days

Bhubaneswar: Three accused in the Odisha Police SI exam fraud case will be remanded in police custody for four days. Shankar, Suresh, and Sagar are set to be interrogated by the investigating agency after being taken from Bhubaneswar’s Jharpada jail.

A Special CBI court has granted a four-day police custody remand for the trio. The CBI claims they are the main culprits in the SI irregularities. The agency plans to uncover the person behind the multi-crore deal through Shankar’s interrogation and gather evidence from Suresh.

The CBI has also seized 133 mobile phones belonging to job aspirants and middlemen involved in the exam, which will be sent to a company to recover deleted data.
