Man, 3 children killed after truck hits their bike in Uttar Pradesh, driver arrested

Lucknow: A tragic incident took place in which a man, 3 children travelling on a bike lost their lives after truck hits their bike in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh on July 13.

The accident took place on Delhi–Lucknow National Highway (NH-9) when the man, his wife and children were travelling from Shahjahanpur to Noida.

The incident took place when they were on the highway and a speeding truck hit their vehicle from behind, killing them on the spot.

As per reports, the victims of the truck accident are identified as Ashok, and his three children. His wife Rinky had sustained serious injuries during the accident is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Following the accident, the accused driver didn’t stop but tried to flee the scene, but was caught after tracing CCTV footage and other evidences. The driver was arrested, his vehicle was seized.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
