Pankaj Tripathi’s brother assaulted in Bihar over alleged land dispute

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s elder brother, Bijendra Nath Tiwari, was critically injured in an attack in Bihar’s Gopalganj district, police said on Thursday.

According to police, the attack occurred in Belsand village.
It is reported that the attack happened due to a dispute, and the assailants used sticks and sharp weapons on him.

Villagers admitted Bijendra Nath Tiwari to a local hospital, and from there, he was sent to Patna for further treatment by the doctors, considering his condition.

A case has been registered in connection with the attack, while several special police teams have been formed for the immediate arrest of the accused, and raids are being conducted for them.

The incident attracted a lot of attention because the victims were the brother of a Bollywood actor, but according to police officials, the whole matter relates to a village dispute.
