Malviya Nagar Fire tragedy: Accused and owner of ‘Flourish stays’ hotel sent to four days police custody

New Delhi: Saket court sends the Accused and owner of Flourish stays hotel in the Malviya Nagar fire tragedy has been sent to four days of police custody today.
The hotel owner of Flourish Stays is identified as Lovkesh Bajaj.
The Delhi government has announced an ex gratia compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the families of those killed in the Malviya Nagar hotel fire tragedy and Rs 5 lakh for those who sustained serious injuries in the incident.

The victims of the fire accident are identified as 9 Indians and 12 foreigners. The family members who lost their lives in this fatal accident are identified as Vivek Aggarwal, Tarjni Aggarwal, Jivisha, Varya, Jhaveri, Ashok Aggarwal, Kamla and Prem Lata Aggarwal.
The incident took place in a five-floor hotel building at around 8.30 AM in the morning. The fire engulfed in all five floors. Hotel didn’t have any emergency exit stairs, windows were permanently sealed and the doors were sensor operated.
