Ahmedabad: A Bangladeshi woman has faced deportation after ten years of marriage and two children with an Indian national in Lambhvel village, Gujarat.

This incident occurred after the authorities learned that the woman had entered India illegally a decade ago and is living here since then.

As per reports, she crossed the border after falling in love with a Gujarati man ten years back that is in the year 2016. The reason behind illegal immigration is said to be due to family opposition and immigration hurdles.

This came to light when a drive was enforced to identify illegal immigrants in the country. When she was showcasing her documents it was learned that she didn’t have valid immigrant documents and had entered illegally.

The woman has been detained on June 2 and since then the life of the family has been disrupted. She is currently in a women’s shelter facility until the formal deportation process is completed.

However, the husband of the woman, Tarun patel has appealed to the authorities to not deport her wife as the only intention to enter India was to get married and build a family with him.

This incident will separate the family and also the two children that the couple have together.
