Delhi cop’s quick thinking saves man from jumping off Mahipalpur flyover

New Delhi: A rescue took place at Delhi’s Mahipalpur flyover as a police officer successfully prevented a man from jumping off the flyover and ending his life

According to Delhi Police, upon receiving the information about the man precariously standing on the edge of the Mahipalpur flyover, the SI, Anil Sharma, immediately rushed to the location.

As soon as Sharma arrived at the location, he could sense that the man was in severe stress. Instead of grabbing the man and pulling him back, he tried talking to him.

The police officer tried to talk to him with all the patience and provided the distressed man with water, as he was able to win his trust to a good extent.

But at the time, the man seemed unstable.

However, the officer asked the man to hand over his phone as there was an incoming call.

While the man tried to hold the phone and reach for it, the SI, in an instant, caught him by his hands and saved him.

The man had to be saved with all patience, which can be observed.

The video of the rescue was shared on social media by Delhi Police, and people appreciated the man for his humanity and professionalism, with many stating that the SI Anil Sharma is a real life hero who saved a distressed soul and gave him a second life.
