Alongside this, work is underway on a 6-lane flyover at Palasuni at a cost of about Rs 23 crore. Two 7-metre-wide service roads will also be built in the stretch.

The National Highways Authority of India has set a target to complete all the works by March 2027. The Bhubaneswar MP said the skywalk and related infrastructure are expected to provide a permanent solution to pedestrian safety and traffic bottlenecks on this busy NH stretch.
