Odisha appoints Sudhansu Sekhar Barpanda as member of OERC

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government appointed Sudhansu Sekhar Barpanda as a Member of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission (OERC).

The order has been issued in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-section (5) of Section 82 of the Electricity Act, 2003. Barpanda will assume the position with effect from the date he takes charge of the office.

“In exercise of the power conferred under Sub-section 5 of Section-82 of the Electricity Act. 2003 (No. 36 of 2003), the State Government is pleased to appoint Shri Sudhansu Sekhar Barpaada, as Member, Odisha Electricity Regalatory Commission (OERC) with effect from the date he assumes the Office”, read the official notification.
