Toddler allegedly bites another toddler 25 times at day care in Maharashtra

Mumbai: An incident occurred in which a toddler at the same day care allegedly bites another toddler 25 times in Maharashtra. This incident occurred after the staff locked the minor children in that room.

As per reports, the whole incident is recorded in the CCTV camera of the day care. It shows that the incident took place on June 22.

The victim toddler was reportedly 23-month-old and ward of a 29-year-old lawyer.

The incident unfolded when one of the four children were trying to go out of the room and the female care taker was stopping the child, after a while she reportedly looked all of them in a room and left.

After this one child started to bit another child and the other one stood there, another child was seen going near the victim child. The incident lasted for around 15 minutes.

The toddler was crying and groaning in pain for more than 30 minutes but the day care staff or administration failed to intervene and look into the matter.

Following the incident, when the child went home and the clothes were removed they found serious bite injuries on their child’s body. The child was then taken to a hospital and admitted there.

A complaint has been lodged against CEO, managers, owner, principal and female care taker of the day care in which the incident took place.

As per reports, the victim toddler’s parents have also alleged that the day care has offered Rs 10 Lakh bribe to not file complaint against the day care.

No actions have been taken till now but an investigation has taken place by the education department for the day care.

Further investigation into this matter is underway.
