Man hacked to death on road in Bengaluru in suspected revenge killing

Bengaluru: A shocking murder took place in which a man was brutally hacked to death on road in Bengaluru, Karnataka during daylight yesterday.
The incident took place near IG Circle in which the attackers reportedly chased the victim man before getting violent against him. The man was assaulted with machetes in a busy public place. People were present during the incident, some of them choose to leave the place and some to just stand and watch.
The victim in this hack to death case is identified as Raja alias Halmuk Raja, he has a criminal background.
As per reports, there were three men with machetes, they had arrived in a car with a commercial number plate. They intercepted Raja and when he tried to run away for his life they started attacking him with the machete.
Following the incident, Raja was shifted to a hospital in critical condition, where he died while getting treated.

A case has been registered by the police and investigation has been launched.
The accused persons have not been arrested yet, efforts are being made to trace them and arrested them.
This matter is being suspected under suspected revenge killing as the victim had criminal background that includes crimes from robbery to murder. It could be due to a gang rivalry.
Police is trying to understand the case in all angles.
Further investigation into this matter is underway.
