Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi reviews preparations for Rath Yatra 2026

Puri: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has chaired the final review meeting to overview all the arrangement and preparedness for the upcoming Rath Yatra on Monday.

The meeting was also attended by the two Deputy Chief Ministers Kanank Vardhan Singh Deo, and Pravati Parida, Law Minister Prithiviraj Harichandan, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Minister of Housing and Urban Development Krushna Chandra Mohapatra, Transporation minister, Minister for Commerce, Transport, Steel & Mines Bibhuti Bhusan Jena, and Minister of Panchayati Raj Rabi Narayan Naik.

Puri district MLA Upasana Mohapatra, along with Om Prakash Mishra, Ashrit Patnaik, Sunil Mohanty, Tusharkanti Behera, and Puri MP Sambit Patra, are present.

The Chief Minister is reviewing the final preparations regarding chariot construction, the supply of materials for rituals, road infrastructure, lighting, and security arrangements. A review is being conducted to assess the progress made against the previously set deadlines.
