Commissioner Police nabs fraudster from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur

Bhubaneswar: The Commissioner Police has arrested a man for defrauding a Arun Patra, a magician of Rs 2.5 lakh on pretext of providing a vehicle for a stage show on Thursday. The fraudster was arrested from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur area after an intensive investigation.

According to reports, the accused, identified as Binaya Kumar Gauda, had taken Rs 2.5 alkh from a man working as a magician to provide a vehicle for a birthday party and a marriage party.

The magician Arun Patra was promised to get a second hand vehicle in exchange for Rs 2.5 lakh. However, after taking the money, he could not be contacted and kept making excuses instead of providing the vehicle.

Following his arrest, the Commissionerate Police have forwarded Binay Kumar Gauda to court.
