Man stabbed to death by colleague in Greater Noida over personal dispute

Uttar Pradesh: An Uttar Pradesh man has reportedly been stabbed to death by his co-worker after a heated exchange in Greater Noida, police reported.

Officials say the attack occurred late on Thursday night and initial investigation suggests the incident stemmed from a personal disagreement.

Sources confirm that deceased has been identified as Suresh of Bareilly region.

Investigators allege that accused, identified as Naresh, allegedly attacked Suresh after a disagreement with regard to his relations with the same girl.

That argument escalating and led to stabbing. Also accused had been injured in the ensuing fight and was taken to a private hospital.

After treatment he was put in police custody, they further stated that The case has been registered and weapon of offence has been seized by the police which led to the incident.

They further add that the investigation of the incident is on going, as statements of witnesses have been registered and a more details picture of the crime and sequence of events leading up to it is being ascertained.

Further action based on the probe results would follow.
