Light to moderate rain to continue in these districts of Odisha, check details

Bhubaneswar: Light to moderate rain will continue in several districts of Odisha, predicted the Bhubaneswar-based regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today.

According to the weather department light to moderate rain or thundershower will continue till October 9. The IMD also issued yellow warning for thunderstorm and lightning.

Check day-wise warnings:

Day 1 (Valid upto 8.30 AM of October 5):

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Malkangiri and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of October 5 to 8.30 AM of October 6):

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Baleshwar, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of October 6 to 8.30 AM of October 7):

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 4 (Valid from 8.30 AM of October 7 to 8.30 AM of October 8):

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Nayagada and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
YELLOW WARNING: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty surface wind (wind speed reaching upto 30-40 kmph) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Nayagada.

Day 5 (Valid from 8.30 AM of October 8 to 8.30 AM of October 9):

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few place over the districts Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Debagada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj; at one or two places over the districts Boudh, Kandhamala, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khordha, Nayagada and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha
YELLOW WARNING: Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty surface wind (wind speed reaching upto 30-40 kmph) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Baleshwar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghapur, Kataka, Sundaragada, Debagada, Anugola, Dhenkanal, Kendujhar, Mayurbhanj.
