Two killed in horrific road accident near Brahmapur, locals block NH seeking compensation

Brahmapur: In a tragic incident, two people were killed while waiting to cross a road in Brahmapur of Odisha’s Ganjam district.

As per reports, a man and woman were standing on the side of the road and waiting to cross, when they were reportedly hit by a speeding car and thrown on the road.

Following which, a trailer truck traveling on the same road allegedly crushed them road and rushed away from the place.

The impact of the accident was so severer that both of them died on spot.

Agitated locals blocked the road with protest and demanded the State government to give compensation to family of deceased.

The identity of the deceased persons is not known yet.

However, the cops have rushed to the place for investigation and have a probe in to the accident and have been trying to trace out the two vehicles which were involved in the incident.
